For the last week or so my front end has been popping when making a sharp turn. I figured it was just my Calmini idler arm furthering it's slow and painful death. But to my surprise, I found this just now while I was out on a smoke break at work:


That's the nut on the LCA! It's almost completely backed off. Every so often I'll get under the truck with a set of wrenches and make sure nothing is loose, but I guess I missed this one. I'm going to assume this is where the popping is coming from.

Looks like tonight I get to get back under the truck and torque everything back down again. Bawl

I never had issues with the lower control arm bolts. Anyways I would install some lock tight.

check those front torsion bar mount point nuts and bolts while you're under there...
