Hey guys,

Has anyone swapped out their steering wheel? I was wanting to go with a smaller diameter wheel. I put in bucket seats and a 4 point harnesses, and the new seats sit a bit higher than my old ones.

I emailed Grant, and they said they have no options for any vehicles with airbags, as it removed the airbag. They don't care that it is desired... they don't want the liability.

So, my question is if anyone has put a different wheel on, and if so, what did you get to make it possible?

Thanks.

That would be nice.

I wonder how much something like that would set me back?

Yeah, I was just thinking the easiest way to remedy the situation, is to loose some more weight... lol

My legs don't interfere with the wheel, it just makes turning a PITA.

When i pulled the airbags in my old Frontier i put in a Momo wheel w/ a Momo hub.

I had a 350mm Momo Monte Carlo which was smaller then a stock wheel but not too small making it harder to turn. I thought it was the perfect size. The Momo hub you want is Part# 3507. This fits all Frontiers, Xterras and Hardbodys. Itll also work on Sparco wheels.

Heres the Momo app. chart

The smaller steering wheel looks good. I would install a little swivel on the steering wheel, so you could turn the wheel fast with only one hand. Very useful off road.
