Hey whats up everyone? Im Justin from Jonesboro,Ar. I just found this site but I have been a member at nissanforums.com for a while. I have a 2000 Nissan Frontier SE V6 Crew Cab 4x4. I have a question about tires. My truck is stock other than my exhaust. I was wondering what size tire I should but on if Im lookin at a M/T tire. I have 255/65R16 on now but they are H/T tires. I was lookin at a Firestone Destination M/T but I have no idea what size. I want a wide looking tire with no rubbing. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks for your time.

I've got the 265-75-16 MT on My 2000 Frontier CC They look pretty wicked. I also added a 3" BL to it, it's easy. 16's are hard to get tires for. If you want wide you gotta go to like a 285-80 that requires a BL.

hmmmm... 31 x 10.5 is near the max tire size on an OEM suspensioned 4wd, CC and DR models of the 00 Frontier. It's likely that some trivial plastic trimming on the mudflap could be needed too.

Starting in 01, the front fenderwell clearance is somewhat greater so tire size on the OEM suspension 01+ can go up to 265-75/16, which is approximately 32 x 11 as I recall.

Well after about 3 weeks of negotiations with my dad, he has decided I am not gettin an M/T tire on my truck. Frown Instead I am getting a Dueler A/T Revo. He said he may be willing to let me get a 265/75/R16 as long as it does not rub or "look bad." If he is not happy then I am getting the 255/75R16. Im kinda pissed cuz I have to pay for it no matter what but all well. I think I get them on Thursday or Friday. Ill let you know how it turns out.

I finally got tires put on. I got a 255/70R16 Dueler A/T Revo. They look bad ass. Only problem is the firestone guys had to do a little shaveing and they still rub. Not bad just a little when I make a hard turn. I just have to go try them out off road.

My cousin just bought a 2001 CC 4x4 but he has the the 17" rims. He wants AT's so I found some 255/70/17's which works out to like 31". We have no prob cutting a little but his wife is another story. When you trim to make them clear, is it something his wife would notice?

Depends on how neat he is and how blind his wife is.

Not familiar with them. I wasn't horribly impressed with the Generals that came on my Xterra...they were quiet tho.
