Got tired of smellin myself w/o functioning cats
so went browsing in a junkyard in Otay... found a 2001 exhuast mannifold- noticed everything looked the same as the '98 'cept for the precat Cat was different.... bolt centers mounting to cylinder head looked same,,, bottom end where bolts up to xhst piping looks to be the same,,,,,,,,, but most of all>>>>>>>
>>>>>>> the web on the mannifold where the front and back runners meet is a much reinforced design when compared to the 1998 manifold... shouldn't crack like the 98's did... will bolt it in in a couple weeks.... if your gonna get a new Xmanny make sure you get the stronger design.....

It fit's great... 'cept cant use the 98 EGR pipe on the 2001 manifold, so, the 2001 EGR tube( or whatever it is) must be swapped over as well.
... no more smell
