by this time sunday ill have a new rear axle with a locker , bought a front diff and nismo axle from an 06 frontier for $600 so ill have a spare front diff and a rear locker

lockers make a wheeling a different world.
I would do the mod in a-rods post. I'm a little wary about the 05+ Nissan with factory lockers. Seems like every time I watch one climb a hill the front looks like it's a open diff. 1995 KC XE-V6 4x4. |

thanks for that info , but i didnt run anything thru the computer i just wired in a 12v switch to power up the solenoid , so technically ive got that mod
, but found out the abs sensors were different , and the guy i bought the locker from kept the old ones , so now i got to buy new ones     |

in all the videos and pics I have, my front 2 tires are always spinning.. WAY tighter lsd than the one calmini has, from what I've experienced... no comparison, really

What LSD? The front diff is open. No locker, no LSD. Only thing that may "act" like an LSD is the ABLS, which applies the brakes to the wheel that is spinning. But this isn't an LSD, just an electronic nanny. Ryan 2008 Frontier CC 4x4 Nismo |

I'm pretty sure the frontiers have an lsd... the abls thing refers to rear ends not equipped with the rear locker... as there is no real lsd for them... I know my Titan has a real lsd up front, I've held it...

I thought you can order the 05+ fronty and titan with factory installed front traction aids. Maybe it's the ABLS I was thinking of.

Sorry...you are mistaken. Your Titan did NOT come from the factory with an LSD in the front diff. If it has anything, it's the ABLS or was added aftermarket. Ryan 2008 Frontier CC 4x4 Nismo |
