Ok folks, here's the deal. I could bring over up to 3 trucks for the moment. Either 2.7TD Terrano/Pathfinders and/or 2.8TD straight six (TD28) Patrols. Price ranges are between 5-6k$ for the Terrano and 7-9k$ for the Patrol plus shipping (appr.1k$). Prices depend on mileage and age of vehicles. Tax and customs is buyers issue. The Terranos could even be made street legal in the US I guess since they've been avail. with other engines. We'd need one or two vehicles for the run and could give them away afterwards. Shipping can be organized by me, only thing I've to ask for is a 75% prepayment for the truck. You'll get photos and a complete technical check and description before paying anything. We'll have the truck full covered by insurance during the run, just in case. I canm help with spare parts afterwards too. The 4.2 and 4.5's were never avail. here. Cheaper but older solution would be a 3.3TD Patrol.
If you're interested drop me a line Karsten@offroad-events.org

Actually, the VERY newest Navara diesel is a 3.0L 4cyl with dual overhead cams. 147hp and 231 lb-ft. Hopefully in a few years I can afford to just buy a brand new one and import the sucker. They look so much better than the US offerings.

For a link:

This one is only $24K in US dollars. So it's a possibility!

Dyno'd stock @ 170ft-lb and 133Hp...needs another axle to power, care to send me one?http://home.sprintmail.com/~onlyone/index.html for the website

That's the australian one. We don't get the 3.0 TD here. It would distract too many buyers from the Terrano I guess. Australian cars/trucks have the steering wheel on the right hand side BTW wink
