I have a 98 Fronty 4x4 King Cab. The power steering pump makes a racket but the pump functions fine.
Is this common? If not I'm tempted to try mu luck with a used pump. thanks, Greg 98 XE 4x4 King Cab. Herculiner bed liner, 31 x 10.5 x 15 Dueler Revos. My Malamute swears this is really his pickup. |

You are probably low on fluid. Check it before you burn it up.

Y'all got old fluid. I've freshened mine up twice w/ synthetic ATF and it don't make a peep.
