Does anyone know where I can buy one of those bumpers you more commonly see on tacomas? You know its basically a square bar. I am looking for something for the rear bumper like that. I like how MVM has the tow truck rear bumper thing going on. Something close to that effect is what I am going for.

WelderSure, one or a few of the crew might take you up on a custom Welder bumper- if you can nail down the design( for looks or for bumpin?) and work around time scheduling.

It's a busy time of year, so you might just have to settle for a referral, if your in a rush to bump.

Do you know where might be a good place to ask. Basically I just want it to be a bar that can have tow hooks bolted to it for recovery. I am looking for function in two major ways. Recovery and to get rid of my bulky bumper on my 00' Fronty.

Call around local fab shops. Most of us are up in Phoenix....several of the SWANKy guys have welders and the right tools to build bumpers.

So I am looking at having to get something fabricated most likely, as opposed to just bolting it on. Right on, guess I'll have to do some shopping around for fab shops and what not. On another note, are the Calmini 3" suspension lift kits good? I am wanting to lift my 00' fronty as well, basically this thing is gonna be a rig when its done.

Calmini makes a solid kit for your Frontier. If you plan on wheeling the truck, spend the extra money and get their steering kit too, as stock centerlinks tend to die quickly on lifted Nissans.

Sounds good. I took it down to GUnsight Pass which is southeast of Tucson. It did pretty good for being stock. I do want to be able to take it on some rougher trails though as I gain experience and do some mods to it. But man I tell ya I am loving this more and more. Thanks guys.

ya hear about it...yet I know a lot of people with it who haven't had any trouble.

Makes me wonder if it's a lubrication issue....Gotta keep it greased.

Also do you know where I can buy the mounting brackets for those spotlights more commonly seen on jeeps/cop cars?
