First of all just wanna say whats up to everyone, glad to see that there fronty supporters out there.
Alright I have a 03 fronty CC 4x4 with custom exhaust, airaid intake, 3in BL & SL. I have been looking at the Cams, large bore throttle plate, and headers that SLR sells? Is it worth the money to install these upgrades and if so what are realistic expectations? I have also been looking at the Alpine supercharger (would love to do it all) heres the link.

http://www.alpine-developments.us/nissansc.htm

I read some other posts on here and it seems like pretty positive feedback on the SLR items but just wanted to hear some other points of view. I have started considering regearing also but I haven't decided what size tire I'm going to run so I want to wait.

Alright last thing sorry for the long post but I still need to upgrade my steering. I have been looking at the Chaos fab kit. Does anyone have this kit or another that they would recommend. I heard that there was a bad kit out there thats why I'm asking

Nice site guys look forward to posting some pics in the future, thanks for all the help and input it will all be well recieved and greatly appreciated.

only person i know of with all the SLR upgrades is Kdawg...he likes them as far as i know.

I would not go with any supercharging kit, if you notice they do nothing to change the ECU or fuel curves - best bet here is to swap in the SC3.3 engine if you really have to have it.

I think my NA3.3 is fine even with 33" tires and 4.6 gearing.

In terms of steering upgrades - go with calmini if you really wheel your truck...otherwise it is not needed. L&P sells a new centerlink that is supposed to do the trick but i have no experience with them or their products. I have the calmini kit and i love it.

Anyways, Welcome and if you use the search function you can dredge up A LOT of info on topics just like this...that way you dont have to wait for us to respond.

Great thanks for the help, but now I am kinda lost. I have read about other guys getting lifts done on there frontys and saying that you have to upgrade the steering. I am about to order the calmini but if it isn't neccessary I could easily use the money on something else Big Grin.
I'm not doing any serious offroading but its something I plan on doing in the future. Well I guess I just answered my own question.
Thanks for the welcome and the help.

If you have done the SL and you wheel even moderately, then you should upgrade your steering. Calmini is good, the only problem I had with them is they couldn't get me the kit till 3 months after I ordered it, so I went with Total Chaos.

Have to say that I love the TC steering so far, has taken everything I have thrown at it. Expensive though!

Ronin,FrontCC and Gumy are right on this one.Get the steering upgrade. It'll make your offroad experience that much better.I wouldn't buy the Alpine supercharger. You can pick up an Eaton M-62 on Ebay cheap and even if you need to redo it,the only thing that ever goes wrong is the bearing in the nosecone.I could equip several trucks for what Alpine wants for one SC. Thanks for all the input guys, I just ordered the steering kit from Calmini and the bumper from Shrock works. I'll post pics as soon as I get everything put together. As far as the future goes I am pretty positive that I am going to regear my truck and the get the engine mods from SLR. But thats down the road, I can already feel my wife using her laser eyes to burn holes thru me for this. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving later all.

In high school, I restored a 1968 Mustang. I had a girlfriend at the time, and she got upset that I'd spend my Friday nights with the car. She laid down an ultimatum: her or the Mustang.

I chose the Mustang.
