Andy,

Had a few minutes and sat down with a calendar, and here's what I'm thinking.

Leave Cowlumbus early August the 28th and arrive Mesa/Gilbert around 7-8 p.m. on the Thursday the 29th. Friday is the 30th with Saturday being the first. Would need to leave for Ouray on Sunday morning, it's around 500 miles or so.

If these dates work for you guys, let's run on Friday or Saturday or both. I'll haul McSoo's axle home with me and start working on the lockers and gears for fall.

Clint is more than likley going to make this run again as my copilot.

ASU starts up then (the 26th) so we'd have to work something out. I suppose I could just go out and get the D60 I've always dreamed of (hehehe) and then have everything apart and waiting for you... Looks like I need to get to work! Hmm... Wed. and Thurs. I guess I'll pick up the steel for shackles and spring mounts! (I'm gonna go with leafs anyway) No prob on the email thing.

WooHoo! End of August means I can go too! Oooh, guys that is Labor Day weekend and we had told J we would come up there for the weekend. That makes me think maybe friday would be best for wheeling (everyone can eat one day of vacation to show Mark our trails) and then we can head to J's. Mark is more than welcome to head to J's on saturday and leave from there on Sunday (it's near Flagstaff and on the way to CO anyhow). What's everyone think?

Yeah, Mark, are you crashing GOX or did Ian decide to allow you in?

No, I'm not crashing GOX and Ian is still insisting on an X only event which is fine by me.

I plan to just run the trails and hook up on individual runs with the clubs and not really do any official GOX events.

From the sound of it anyway, the attendance this year is WAY down from last...although that has no bearing on my travel plans.

DL, save your vacation days, if it's cool for me to join you guys at J's, then count me in, I can just leave for Ouray from Flagstaff. No difference to me. Maybe Thursday or Friday night we could all get some wings and beers or something?

I just can't pass up an opportunity to come back to AZ and see everyone. Escpecially if there is wheelin' involved!

Okay, I'm easy...whatever you guys decide, just count me in...Mikie, I'll get with you on details of your axle, it may be better for me to come back out later in the fall and take care of it. That way you get your stuff done without being pushed and I don't have to drive around the country with an axle hanging off my truck.

Mikey has a minivan he can drive around. In fact, he does drive it around alot. So, the Pathy being out of commission for awhile I don't see as a huge problem.

I'll work on getting that Friday off. We can hit something in the desert and head up to J's on Saturday with a keg Leaving form J's Sunday morning will save you about 2 hours over leaving from Phoenix, so that should work well for you guys. J lives north of Williams, AZ a ways, which is about 35 miles or so west of Flagstaff.

Done! I'm there. Andy don't worry about getting days off on my account, I'd be happy just wheeling Saturday with everyone...but if you do..WHOOHOOO! Also, let me know about the keg, I'll chip in on that for sure and also what I can do to help or bring.

No prob on the axle. Maybe I'll bust my ass to get the front swapped out. Then you can see the rear in action before you buy.. hehehe Oh we can only hope the Pathy's front gets swapped that soon...
