look for a really long spark plug socket in your spare tire kit. mine had one anyway. It Never Ends... BUT if you let someone borrow your junk, wifey or girlfriend or mom or dad, and they don't know how to drive a rig with a locker, when they hit ice/snow they is so gonna crash that mofo! -Rondo

eh im still working on this damn thing. the frontier didnt come with a spark plug socket so ive been using the one from my 95 HB.
thanks for that write-up...im gonna go give it another shot. hopefully i can find all of those things.
this is probably the last time im gonna change the spark plug on this. its just not worth it anymore. i cant remember having this much trouble with spark plugs on any other cars.

I was able to get it with only one u-joint (even though I went out and bought 2). I had more trouble with the ones under the intake manifold. Becareful pulling off your wires; one of mine broke and I thought I'd never the the piece off of the plug so I could pull the plug. ---------------------- Was a 94 Hardbody rig, then a 2wd 89 Pathy that sucked, now a 2000 Frontier King Cab 4x4

I did this a few days ago, and that last spark plug was a bitch!!! It took me 4 hours to take it off and another 2 hours to put a new one.
Make sure you use a compressor to blow the dirt off of the old plugs before you take them off.

I'm a little late on this thread. The easy way to do your spark plugs on a v6 is have 2-3 different size extensions and 1-2 universal sockets. Easy to find at your local wal-mart.

why not just use the 12" spark plug socket that comes in the tire bag? It Never Ends... BUT if you let someone borrow your junk, wifey or girlfriend or mom or dad, and they don't know how to drive a rig with a locker, when they hit ice/snow they is so gonna crash that mofo! -Rondo
