I didnt do any prep to the wheels. Just washed them then canned them black with Semi-gloss Black spray paint. I was going to powdercoat them but i didnt have a spare set of wheels to roll on while they were getting powdercoated. They turned out great for only taking a couple cans and about an hour for all 6 wheels. I figure if they chip or anything ill just respray them. Hope your enjoying the shackles Dana! Nope sorry. I got rid of them a while ago. I bought them from Nissan brand new and they were suprisingly cheap. Im looking at the receipt right now and from a local Nissan dealer they were $32.22 each (flare) and the hardware covers are $.90 each and youll need 7 of them if you dont already have them. These are the grey, unpainted flares from an '01-04 Frontier shortbed.

wow thanks i figured theyd be way to expensive from the dealer. yah i knew they were those i have a 04 frontier long bed and im getting ready to do some cutting and want to keep the flares

LosRocket...I think me and you are the only ones on this site going the prerunner route with our trucks...lets go rompin sometime since we both are 2wd 2000 CC 2wd 3" BL, K&N, Magnaflow Exhaust, indiglo gauges, AVS Ventshades, MB Motoring 16x8 wheels wrapped in 31x16 Wrangler MTR's
