Anyone know the guy in Navada that was selling that highly modified Frontier (it might have been a hardbody), it had 37" wheels, the air suspension up front, dual T-Cases and a very heavy Exo cage. Just wondering if he sold it or not.

This is not a sure thing, but would anyone like to make a serious offer for my Truck? Details are Here, I got a daily driver and I hate to see my turck just sitting in the garage.

Both of mine sit in the garage unless they're being wheeled. They don't get many miles that way and they'll last for many many years.

After all the work in your Frontier, I'm shocked to see you considering selling it!

My pathfinder sits unless I'm wheeling it too..

Heck, most of my vehicles just sit around. I have a small commuter car as well that gets a lot of miles put on it.

Honestly, I'd rather let the vehicles sit than drive them every day. They will last longer that way, like DR said. Also less of a chance of someone wrecking it out on the road. Just make sure and drive them every once in a while to keep things lubricated and batteries charged.

What would you ask for your truck? I know my brother might be getting rid of his Charger ($600 a month payments are killing him), and was looking for a 4wd. He was looking at the *gasp* wranglers when I talked to him last.

I am going to be a vulture... Would you be willing to let your winch go seperate if you decide to sell it?

Ok, let me explain, I know this will hurt, but... Even with all the work I have done on this truck, I can find other trucks (Nissan and Jeep) that cost about 1/2 the value of my truck. Even when we do go out wheeling, I have to be extra careful with mine because of how it looks (ok, I'll say it, its pretty). I have been thinking if I sold it I could buy something with as much capability as mine but at half the cost, and I wouldn't have to worry about messing it up when we go out. If I did buy a jeep (you can kick me), I could buy paddle tires and go play on the dunes, can't do that now because I am so heavy.

Just thinking about it now. My wife is against it as my truck is one of a kind here in AZ. The truck is valued around $15K in stock condition, of course I would want more for the ARB, LSD, Gears and armor, or I would look at taking those off and selling those seperately. Decision to sell may wait till after the AZ Run. I am just putting out feelers.

Since I have it paid off, its not costing me really anthing for it to sit. But if I find out I am buying the place up near Blue Ridge and I need the money, I will sell and buy something different (maybe the rig in Navada if its still for sale).

Yeah, you'd be money ahead parting out the mods and returning it to stock, as modified vehicles typically don't command much more resale value than stock ones, unfortunately, and you've got a bunch o' money tied up in that truck.

If it's paid off, wheel it. Yes, a dent and a ding here and there aren't going to help its resale, but at the same time, it's reliable, low mileage, and you can take it on a trip whenever you want....with that Nevada HB, you'd lose so much drivability with it, I think you'd be disappointed.

Just my nickel's worth.

I'd keep it & wheel it, especially since it is payed off AND built! Go get a few new dents and call it good. You might be able to sell it and get a jeep or another rig, but IMO, you'll be putting money into anything you get if you want to wheel it.

When I bought my pathy I told myself that I'm buying to wheel it. A dent here and there, scratches or whatever, they are just cosmetic. My truck was my daily driver too. When I got another car for a commuter, I felt a lot better about taking it out and having fun with it.

Bob, if your truck is paid off just keep it and wheel it. Thats what it's made for. Sure you could make some $$$ off of it and buy something less in value, but you'd be buying a used vehicle and you have no idea whats been done to it. And dont worry about keeping it pretty. I still owe a ton of money on my truck and its looking pretty bad these days. I'm fine with it though because thats what I bought it for.

I'm on the second round of "payments" for my truck Smile . Seriously, I've been sinking nearly $400/month plus into my truck since 2004! Before that, it was one, maybe 2 mods a year.

Well, you guys are totally bad for my budget. Complain

I will not part out yet, and in fact I think I will go with an ARB Locker up front in the next month, so if anyone wants to put dibs in on my front Calmini LSD, let me know.

As for not worring about a few dents, well... all my Mustangs, Vans and not my Truck have been built for Show and Performance, I like to keep my vechiles in somewhat a show condition.

But I know, chicks dig scars, dents can be pounded out, but the memories of how you got them will live forever!
