There's hundreds of AC customers on this forum. They are a reputable company, however, if you're gearing to 5.143, you may encounter some issues on fitment on your H233B, as those gears were designed for older model trucks. I have them myself, and a pinion sleeve had to be machined to fit the correct bearing. Keep this in mind and ask them about this. 1998 Frontier 4x4, 2007 AWD Murano, 2007 RAM 2500 4x4 Diesel, and an Intruder VS800. I dreamt I was a muffler last night. When I woke up, I was exhausted.

apparently nismo now makes 5.13 gears for the new trucks that dont need to be modified... offroadx(brent) said you can get them from the dealer....

ICEMAN on this board ordered them from ABC. They were shipped for $432. So they are available now. It Never Ends... BUT if you let someone borrow your junk, wifey or girlfriend or mom or dad, and they don't know how to drive a rig with a locker, when they hit ice/snow they is so gonna crash that mofo! -Rondo

Thanks for the feedback. I plan on using the AC 4.875 gear set for my Frontier. And by the way, in case anyone is looking for fender flares that retain the factory look exactly, I found a company that makes fiberglass replacements that are 3 to 5 inches wider than the stock fender flares. Here is the link: http://www.hannemannfiberglass.com

If I were you, I would search a place like car-part.com to see if you could find a set of Nissan's 4.9 gears as they came stock in some 02+ Xterras and Frontiers, could be cheaper for you. Just a thought

That is an awesome website! And you were right, the prices are better. Looks like its used parts only though, but if its low mileage I'm not concerned about that...
Thanks!

Good luck with car-part.com, I've been talking to a guy that has had a place he found through them that keeps sending him 4.6 gears when he ordered 4.9s, the third set is on the way. It's not car-part.com's fault, it's the recycler, but FYI...

Good point. I called the salvage yard that had the parts and they told me they have both front and rear axle assys. in the 4.9 ratio in stock. They're even from the same vehicle. The only issue sounds like its going to be shipping - very expensive ($300+), but I'll be getting everything from axle-to-axle, not just the gears... the price for the parts is negotiable, but I end up saving almost half by going this route...

You just need the front diff and rear third-member. Don't bother with the entire rear axle, that's gonna kill ya on shipping.
