I used a drill press to drill out my pitman. I would not recommend drilling the pitman any other way. Make sure you've got some oil laying around when drilling.

The TC kit uses new upper and lower control arms. The stock lower control arms crack at the shock mount point in stock form and I couldn't imagine them holding up the forces a coil over would put on them.

Anyway, if you want to go for it, get the AC control arms (they are open enough that you could probably get a coil over through) reinforce the lower arm and cal it a day. Smile

looking good! The sliders made out of the same size tube? Those get the most beating. I usually use mine to lift the truck.

Looks good.

Kinda sucks that the frame mounts are so low on the D22s...if you really smack something with that it'll fold back into the grill and hood. I had the same concern on mine before the exo, as it's mounted in the same spot. Your mounts are beefier though - I like those.

Mine is also tied down to the body mounts on the side. It doesn't help a lot, but it does add some rigidity to it. Of course the exo hepled the most. Another way to stiffen the whole assembly up is doing like you did on your 07 and taking a tube from the end of the bumper over the fender and into the slider.

Of course I'm thinking worst case, like rear ending another pickup at 20mph.....

yeah the sliders are 1-3/4 on both bars

and Dr i may add a diagonal bar that goes from the top of the frame and ties into the bumper to help from bending it backward ,
the mounts you see , i chopped the frame back about 3" then added a 1/4" flat plate with welded nuts on the back Welder
