FWIW, there is a slight difference in position of the EGR bung on later model Fronty's , as opposed to the 98.

I tried to put a 2001 manifold( stronger) on my 98 and had to also swap over the EGR tube. The EGR tube onthe 98 wouldn't mate up to the EGR bung on the 2001 as it was a little too far away.. Keep that in mind if you plan on marketing these headers as fitting 1998 through 2000whatever.

That's odd...the 2001+ manifold went right on my '98 without issue....on the other hand, I have a Y2K engine now, but it's identical to the '98.
