You'd need to find a jack point on the passenger side to lift that one. The motor twists under load to lift on the driver and push down on the passenger side so - like everybody else, I've had to replace the driver side three times and never the passenger side. These things do ok out of the box until you start following solid axle trucks around and striking your own poser shots I sort of miss the good old brand new days when I could just beat it on the stuff I was willing to try and not notice the difference on the Monday morning commute Having a personal relationship with every nut and bolt on the beast is a different kind of (ummm...) happiness. I've have learned that "crawling rocks!"

after the sas on mine the drive side mount ripped apart after a few days. we ditched the passenger mount as well. just weld a hinge in there and call it good.

A hinge? A lesson learned late, is still a lesson learned.

YES, mod it. Save you from replacing the part for a while.

I always wondered what is the next weak link after you beefy up the motor mount? Is the rubber in there just to dampen vibration between motor and frame or is it a fuse to keep from ripping something else up? I can tell you that crawler gears and rear locker have done wonders for my driver side motor mount MTBF.

The rubber would deteriorate and whatever is between would brake. Motor mounts are designed to be a weak link. You could fabricate up your own solid motor mount. The vibrations are going to move somewhere els. Usually to the transmission mounts.
