Well, there's a fill hole on the side of the trans. Locate that and see if it's snug. What's the mileage on your Fronty? When was the last time the lube was changed-and GL-4 installed( don't say MObil one GL5 is ,fine and Jiffylube did the service )??? Removing the center console will expose where the shifter is mounted. I think it's just 4 screws to remove ,and that secures the change tray/plastic console the shifter boot is mounted to. I think there's 6 bolts on the shifter mounting plate once you get it exposed. Just make sure they're tight. ..................... "Climate change is no longer science. It's politics... There's only a select few places a manual tranny could be leaking from. Front main seal, rear main seal (most common), fill and drain plug, last front the shifter location. Only other place it could be leaking from is a crack in the casing. Very unlikely.

Check the vent hose that connects to the top of the tranny. It may be coming from there. It could also be from the shifter boot where the shifter enters the tranny. If you plan to pull the interior boot and check the tranny boot, you should just order a fresh tranny boot. Why take it apart twice? It is probably dry-rotted. Like Bille says; while you are at it, replace the oil with GL4. Most of us will roccomend Red Line Synthetic (MT-90 is what I use), but there are cheaper alternatives. Don't skimp on using the right stuff. It will cost you.

Are you talking about where the clutch slave is? In this case your front main seal is shot. The main seal is leaking and it's seeping out from the clutch fork. How much fluid? How often do you have to refill the tranny?
