I learned a little from Rancho about Pro Comp MX-6 shocks. I found out that Rancho makes them for Pro Comp and they are a Mono tube design shock so if you damage them like a example dent them on a rock they are done.
The Rancho's if you dent them will still work because they are dual tube design and denting the outer tube doesn't affect the shock from working unless you dent it really badly.
I guess it's a matter of choice I am not saying rancho's are the shiznick but saying the design of them is better than the pro comp ones and they cost less that's why I am sold on rancho 9000's instead of the Pro comp MX-6's.
I guess if you don't wheel much the MX-6 is a ok adjustable shock but if you wheel I would choose a Rancho 9000 or a dual tube design shock hands down.
