Does anybody know where I can find a 2" body lift for my 95 HB/Ext Cab 4x4? I looked all over but only see 3" for my ride.
thanx |

The 2" body lifts only go to '93. I donj't know what the body mounting differences are between the '94 and newer, and '93 and older. Never had the 2 side by side.

I know for sure they used to carry them at JCwhitney. But I looked on there website and didn't see the kit. I'm with you I don't want the full 3" of clearance I just want a little room to clear my tires. The frame is ugly the less that is showing the better it looks it seems.

I was afraid of that...Guess I could throw some nerf bars to hide the frame and do the 3"...
Or, Suspension Lift: My fear with the susp lift is: 1) I want the truck to be at least level, if not a hair higher in the front, I had heard that you will be fortunate to get 2" lift on the front on a susp lift. Is there a way to buy the front susp part separate and then I can adjust the rear as to how it will perform and look the best? ALso, I have read alot of stuff about how hard the lifts can be on the front end components...I don't have the funds to do a $1000 SL w/ steering and shocks and all. thanx for the advice |

They only thing you need to adjust the front is the A-arms. You can keep your stock shocks, torsion bars, etc. But if you are going to put in bigger tires, no matter how you lift it, you will need to upgrade your steering. I would recommend the Superlift A-arms, they are the best I've seen yet. You can get them from 4wheelparts.com, but they will have to special order them.
