I used 79-88 Toy leafs. $92 a piece at 4wheel parts. These are the 4" lift. You may want much less. I got 7.5" of lift and had to install 1.5 lift shackles to fit.

Basically a bolt on. But have to move axle back 1". And reuse the Nissan INNER steel sleeve from the stock bushing.

I had to trim my rear fenders to clear the 35s at full stuff.

is there any problems with moving the axle back? i was thinking that the SLR 3pack aal's might be the way to go but they state that these aal's won't fix badly worn springs. my springs have a negative arch to them now. also is the spring rate of the yota leaves pretty mellow for the hardbody truck? i don't want harsh or overly soft springs. any feedback and experience on this issue would be greatly appreciated. thanks

No problems so far. I am using a stock 01 frontier driveshaft. Ride is good. A little bouncy when empty. No hard or soft. Probaly same as stock. With a good 1/2 ton of wood ride is really nice and stable.

I would not recommend the 4" lift springs unless going SAS spring over due to extreme height. But there's numerous brands of designed for Toy springs to choose from. Gonna use some in the front also.

Toys and Hardbodies are very similar in size and weight. I love these springs over blocks or add aleafs.

I find that most springs are basically the same size if you just want to add some leafs.

My front spring is made up of 3 stock waggys, 1 toy truck, 2 nissan truck rears (well worn)

I had to chop the eyes off the nissan rear main spring to use it as a leaf. lol

AC sells a 3leaf pack for the HB for $185. anyone use or have feedback on this product? for the price it looks pretty good. I just ordered sway-a-ways for the front. i've read good things about these.

Those are add-a-leaves to your existing pack. Good product.

I took my overloads out and put in some worn front waggy leafs mixed with some original Nissan rears. It adds approx. 1.5" of lift, decent flex. Here is a lousy pic.

The TOY spring swap is tempting.....toss up between the 63" chevys tho. Later

I did not feel like spending allot of time or money on new hangers etc. Since I was spending so much time on th frt SAS. But those springs flex great WITHOUT The overload. I had to put the "new" overload back in after a day of wheeling. The rear sagged big time. Now its the same height but kinda rides like a stock empty bed truck.

I am going to try some toy replacement springs for the front eventually. The waggys are too thin.

I added a short add a leaf to the front of my truck, got an extra 1.5 of lift. Rides better and still flexes. Gonna try the 63"s I think.
