I was looking thru the lift parts and found a picture of the ucas that look identical to what I have got on the truck. What do the stock ucas on a 4x4 hardbody look like? Mine look exactly like the ones found here. Also My torsion bars say "Jim connor racing". It looks like when I got the truck out of the junkyard it was in the middle of a lift. There's nothing to lift the rear and it doesn't sit very high right now, probably stock, but I also have small tires (235). If these are the lift ucas what else do I need to complete the lift?
Jim Connor used to make parts for Nissans. Quit about 10 years ago. They are lift arms, similar if not the same as those sold by AC. You will need to adjust the torsion bars for front lift, and either add-a-leaf or longer shackles in the rear.

ok, that makes sense now. I wonder if this explains the alignment problems I'm having. Having the aftermarket a-arms and NOT lifting it would make the tires wear on the inside, right? I had it aligned when I first got it and after about 5000 miles their is a noticable amount of wear in the inside on brand new tires. How can I tell if the truck has the lift shackles or add-a-leaf? How high should a stock 4x4 sit on 235 tires with 15 inch rims?
