Alright, I made some longer shackles, and have grade 8's for install. Problem is that the stock bolt will not come out of the spring.

Any tips other than a BFH!!

I'm not positive if the inner bushing is attached to the bolt, or is they will come out as a unit.

Any tips would be super.

the bolt is probably rusted to the inner sleeve. best bet is to cut it off and buy a new bolt.

I have several suggestions before you cut them. Squirt the crap out of them with rust loosener, and use an air or electric impact wrench to loosen, while at the same time whacking the end of the bolt with a hammer(be sure to leave the nut on until it becomes flush with the bushing). If that fails, try smacking a smaller bolt through the hole as a driver.

Alright, I assumed that it should come out of the inner sleeve. My first thought was to get out the torch and let it rip, but wanted to get the vet's thought here.
