I searched the post already but i am still Confused about the lenght of the rear shocks for my truck. I did the add a leaf from a yj rear leafs and it rised my truck about 2.5"/3". I need to replace my factory shock cause they are dead. Tha big question is the lenght of the new shocks. I have a 98 4x4 Fronty ext cab. Can anybody tell me what size to get? oh! and i have a couple of new 2008 1ton dodge 4x4 rear shocks that I was going to use, but they are almost 6" longer than the stock Frontier fully compressed. Will they work? Thanks,

Those sound too long.

If you want Ranchos, the Rancho part number 5116 will fit your truck. They run around $38-42 each.

Or, you can click on the Rugged Rocks Off Road banner ad we have on this page - they carry Fabtech and Procomp parts, and while I couldn't find your exact application of shock, it's likely they could get them for you.

Procomps typically run a little bit less $ than Ranchos.

3-4" longer than your current shocks will be fine.

Here's a old like with Rancho p/n and shock specs. http://www.4x4wire.com/jeep/tech/susp/shockspecs/

find the correct p/n and order a set in. Automotive customizers/calmini also sells shocks for a lifted truck.
