National Spring finally finished my new springs and we have determined that we would like to extend the brake lines due to the added articulation.

Does anyone know if I should take that to a shop or how to do it??

or anything else that I need to know??

Thanks

Robin

Buy a longer brake line from AC and do it yourself. You'll just need to bleed the rear brakes when you're done. Another person makes that much easier.

allright a longer brake line from AC, any other lines are hoses that need to be extended? And is it just unbolting/unplugging the old one and plugging in the new one?

Nope and yup. Work quick and you'll have less air to bleed out. Bleed the left rear first, then the right rear.

Your e-brake cable might not be long enough... After my axle swap, my ebrake cables are too short Frown

Just a thought.

I think you might have to custom make those Frown

I noticed Home Depot has cable accessories.. like crimps, and end pieces, etc. I didn't notice if they had a splice or not, but that would be all that you would have to do... Just like a 3 or 4 inch extension. I dunno Confused

Your Ebrake should be fine.

Are you swapping the rear axle at the same time? If so, you gotta bleed brakes, etc. anyways.
