Sorry I didn't check this thread sooner. There is one possibility that was not mentioned directly; driveshaft phasing.

Have you recently had your driveshaft apart at the carrier bearing? If so, you may have put it back together "out-of-phase". That will cause the vibration that you are describing. An out-of-phase conditions will only be felt in first and (possibly) second gear.

One clue will be the rubber suspension around the carrier bearing. It will be damaged/torn from the violent movement of the driveshaft.

It's a fine line between clever and stupid.

Nothing wrong with a NAPA clutch, but when I did mine the OEM was actually cheaper, through ABC Nissan. I don't know where you are, but I know they ship.

Hi, I am in Navasota Texas. It is almost imposible to work on my truck right now cause of the Texas heat. I'll look at the carrier bearings and etc in the morning. I haven't touched the drive shaft yet,but the Ujoints seems to be fine. thanks,

I think i found the problem, but i am not sure. The shackle bolts are a bit too small, they are 7/16 bolts, this alows too much of a play on the springs side ways. I'll replace them Monday and see if this will help. Thans for all the help,

Hey. I have a 2000 Frontier CC with a Calmini 3" kit. I recently had Old Man Emu rear leaves installed and after that I experienced the same low rev vibration in the driveline and I have an automatic trans. I think it must be the phasing you talk about. What is the fix? thanks.
