I debating lifting my 01 Frontier, but I cant seem to find anybody who makes a good kit for it! Does anybody know who makes a quality lift kit? I'm also not sure whether to go with a suspension or body lift, I'm not looking to go crazy, just want to through some 31's or 32's on and get a little bit more ground clearance and a sharper look to the rig. Will I see a big difference in gas mileage with these size tires though? Any feedback will help, Thanks !

I have a 2000 Frontier CC. I put the 3" BL on it with 265/70-16 Pro Comp MT's. I like it allot. It did drop my gas mileage about 2 mpg. But I gained some clearance. I was running 245/65. The best thing is that it didnt change the ride.
The BL was easy to do. It took me and Greg all day on a saturday and we took our time.
You can check out my post on the SWANKy forum under "Almost done". Its a way down to it. I have some pictures there. If you have any more Q's dont be afraid to ask.
Good luck.

All of the info you are looking for has been posted all over the forums. If you do a search, you will find many answers to your questions...

Just some quick info... suspenison lifts can be found thru AC, SLR, and Calmini. Body lifts are thru performance accessories, or AC.

Depending on the type of driving you do will determine which lift you may prefer. If you are just wanting to look like a poseur (like me lol ), then a body lift is the way to go... very cheap, and you will easily clear 31s.

If you really like to wheel your rig, then a suspension lift should be in order. You will fit bigger tires, and also raise your ground clearance, a body lift just raises the body to allow for large tires.

With a suspesnsion lift, you may also want to consider getting Calmini's steering to fix the steering on the truck. Nissans are infamous for crappy center links, and the cost of a steering fix pays for itself after two or three center links.

31s will not affect your gas mileage too much. You will be alright.

If I forgot to mention anything, I am sure someone else will post up. Like I said, do a search to find detailed info...

If you go AC...spend the money on the 3pack AAL's and stay away from the single short AAL. Those things ruin spring packs.

My choice would be the Calmini package with steering. Plan on spending about $1400-1500 for a 2.5" lift with all the bells and whistles (shocks, stiffer torsion bars, etc) and the steering kit. Expensive, yes, but you'll have better capability with it.
