They are just torsion bars that are about 30% stiffer than stock.. it is like putting a stiffer spring in.. can carry more load and take more of a shock before bottoming out.

ok i have them too. Got them from ac. I just hadn't heard them called sway away tbars.

Sway-a-Way (SAW) is just a brand name. They make shocks, coil-overs, and torsion bars.
