Greeting All,

I am new to the board & have a question. I noticed my 97 XE sitting alot lower in the front than the rear. Is there a way I can fix this without a lift? I just would like the truck to be level. Everything is stock.

Yeah you can crank the torsion bars to even it out. If it's realy bad you may need to reindex the bars. I've had to do both at different times. I thought there was a how to in the howto forum. If not most any Hayes or chiltons will have the procedure.

Is it a Pathfinder or Hardbody Pickup? The pathfinders have coil springs up front, whereas the hardbody pickup has the adjustable torsion bars.

It is a Hardbody. I looked through the How To forum & couldn't find it.

Good call Datz. I forgot that the 96+pathy's have struts. Check the library for a manual if you don't want to buy one. I'd reccomend you get one or both.
