Quick torsion bar adjustment.

1) Jack up front tires. Make sure both tires are in the air.

2) Remove t-bar adjuster snap ring. Pull adjuster out and turn down. Install adjuster and crank up. Lower truck and measure front frame rails. You want them to be even. Raise or lower as needed.

The torsion bars get worn out after a long time. Basically if you find your re-indexing them several times a year there bad.

IF you have a winch bumper up front stock t-bars aren’t enough.

Torsion bar adjustors are a dealer only item. I recommend ABC Nissan. N4W members get a 25% discount. Unless the splines are worn down or stripped out you should not need a new set of adjustors. Make sure when you fully seat the adjustors. If the adjustors are out a tad but. The torsion bar will slowly loosen up rounding off the splines on the adjustors. If there stock bars both adjustor and t-bar’s slones will round off.

A good set of torsion bars are sway-a-way. Automotive customizes has them. http://www.4x4parts.com/public_html/shop/index.php3?pag...c349f0e9d8cfbd1409f7

Calmini sells a comparable set also. http://www.4x4parts.com/public_html/shop/index.php3?pag...c349f0e9d8cfbd1409f7
