Here's a little something I learned while replacing my lower control arm busing a couple of months back:

If you ever have trouble pulling the t-bars out of the splines attached to the lower control arms (I did when I put my susp.lift kit on several years ago), remove the main bolt that holds the lower control arm to the cross member, put a large bolt or 1/2" socket extension in the hole and whack it with a hammer. Be sure to remove the C-clip at the rear adjuster first so the whole assembly can move back.

A trick I figured out a while back.. with the torsion adjuster taken apart, put a jack under the lower A arm and LIFT the A-arm until it sits flat/parallel with the ground. The torsion bar will then just slide right out with no effort.

It seems that the A arm puts stress on the torsion bar when it is drooped because it isnt exactly a straight line to the torsion adjuster. When you raise the lower A arm to a level position, it puts everyting in line and the Torsion bar just falls out.

Ralph,

Still a week before the next SoCal run. If Sean can give you a hand, I can get them to his house as soon as tomorrow afternoon. I'm already planning to drop something off at his place so the delivery wouldn't be any problem.

I did reuse the AC bushing sleeves with the Superlift arms but I still have the other set of sleeves. They may need to be trimmed a little to make them fit which is why I didn't use them.

POST JACK!! smiley17

Sorry!

I don't mind at all.

Ralph, FYI...when I installed my AC upper control arms, I had to cut away the old UCA's to get the spindles out. this is the easiest and fastest way but you wont be able to use the old UCA's ever again.

Give me a call.
