From my research these are the best two. Which u-joints will be best in the long haul. I've been told CTM honers their warranty If you ever manage to break one.

Right now I plan to use yukon shafts. I haven't priced a set of warns. Yukon's are on ebay right now for 375 a set. I'm sure complete off road will give me the best possible price. They tent to low ball all competitors.

Haha, this is a debate that will never end. I would vote longfield for several reasons.

Longfield is supportive on pirate and will answer questions.

He has a great warrantee policy (as does CTM)

In the only real strenght comparison, longfield came out ahead.

Longfields are cheaper!

Both of them will require greasing, both are close enough in stength that its not an issue. Price and Longfields rep make the difference.

These are the reason's why I'm leaning towards longfield. I don't hang out on pirate. I don't know much about longfield's rep aside from the strength comparison test I downloaded.

Will longfield replace their u-joint of you break one? I've been told CTM will with out any questions. Considering the cost I would like to buy from the company with the best rep. I dont want any customer service or warranty issues.

Usually My attitude is a warranty is only as good as the paper it's written on. Considering the cost of just 1 ctm u-joint is $250 I care about warranty and the company.

But the test was done by Longfield so I don't think it would have been in his best interest to say another product is better. That said, I think he does have some great stuff. Price wise, longfield. As for supportive on pirate, I could give 2 craps about that, it's how supportive they are when I call. Longfield has proven to me through a friend, and CTM has treated me right so customer service is not bad with either as far as I'm concerned. I run Warn Shafts with CTM's and I'm very happy with them. My buddy runs Longfield CV's and he's not complaining.
Lator....

Test was sponsored by longfield. Completed buy a qualified professor. The report was done with the utmost professionalism. You can still be bias but CTM or Yukon have not paid for a test to argue the facts.

Call longfield and ask to be sure. But I think they will replace the cross no problem, bushings are not replaced IIRC. Nearly the same as CTM. I dont think CTM will replace the bushings either.

Bobby longs outfit is legit. I wheeled yota's for a long time and i ran them. You break it you get a new one. If you are in washington state you can take em in and pay no shipping plus if you buy em at the shop he will cut you a deal for local guys. The birf eliminator kits require some mod to the knuckle and i hear they break with anything over a 37 quite frequently. A longfield slides right in. But in my most honest opinion after years of failed yota hell , why not run a 6 lug waggy 44? My pathy is getting one installed in the fall. I already traded what was left of my yota for it.

Umm, he has a waggy 44. Hes talking out the longfield u-joints compared to CTM u-joints.

If the birf eliminator breaks with 37's, why would you reccomend a 44? The birf eliminator kits use d44 joints.

I'll tell you right now, a 15 minute call with bobby will resolve all your questions. He'll take the time to tell you anything and everything you want to know.

I have his d60 joints in my front axle, won't be trying them out for a long time, though. They were on sale for $50 off each one at one point. I talked to him about them then, but didn't have the $$$. I called a few weeks after the sale ended to order them, and he remembered talking to me, and gave me the sale price anyway.

As far as the test go, yes, Bobby asked them to do the tests, but he did none of it himself. I would also point out the fact that if the other companies thought the results were so skewed, they would have been quick to do their own testing to prove him wrong. None have.
