i own a 93 2wd hardbody w/17's.iam wanting to add 3" body lift and tires {mud}.what size 17" tires can i use or should i use 15" wheels?please in need of input

no reason you can't keep your 17's. Just get some new tires that will fit on them. WIth a 2wd HB and a 3" BL, you could run at least a 32" tire, possibly a 33". One thing to think about, any tire you get for a 17" rim will be mroe expensive than the same tire for a 15" rim.

No...you wont' get anything bigger than a 30 on there with just a BL. Remember how low these trucks sit stock.

wait wait wait. I've seen 2WDs running 33's (spectre on AC), so how'd they do it? We all know that a UCA SL doesn't help you run bigger tires, so what gives? Why do you say he can only run 30's?

30s Spectres 2wd with 33s and tons of trimming. I dont remember if he had anything other than a BL but the rear looks like it has longer shackles.
