Hey ya'all, I'm new to the site so I want to start out saying Hi to everyone. HI. So,now down to business. I have a 2000 Frontier crew cab 4X4 and I want to add a little height to it. I want to comfortably fit 31 under it. I have never done any kind of lift and cash is tight. Do I just go with a 2" body or 3" body. Should I take it somwhere to do it. Where?

Automotovie customizers, Calmini, and Spencer Low Racing all market lifts for your truck. Not sure how much height you're looking for, but these lifts are all in the 2.5-3" range.

Datz510 and myself are in Mesa too. We could walk you through an install of a lift. They're not that hard to do with common hand tools and some jackstands.

Lifts are pretty easy to do.. I'm out in east Mesa (Power & McKellips). If you need any help with your truck, just give me a holler. Smile

Thanks everyone. I think that I am going to put some Rubber under it then go from there. By the way what are 31" in metric? For 16R. How much more clearence will that be from 245 65 16? Also AC has a 2" body but it says it is for custom bumpers? Whats up with that. Or do I just have to buy a bumper kit. I dont think that I want to go too high right now cause Next year I think that I will go 3" suspension. Well thank you all for the input. If you have any runs for stock rigs soon let me know.

A 265/70/16 is about a 31" (30.5" or so). The 265/75/16 can fit with a little Tbar crank and possibly some trimming on the mudflap.

Watch the SWANKy forum. There's runs planned for the 7th and 8th posted up already.

Great. Thanks for all the advice. I think that I will get the rubber for it then get with ya'all and see how to do the T-bar adj. and trimming. Also, how do I join the SWANKy? I live in East Mesa and allot fo you seem to be in my area. It sounds like it would be fun to get togather and do a run with you.

Start showing up to runs and gatherings. Once you've run with us and you can stand being around us, you'll become SWANKy. We're not an official club, so theres no dues, etc, but donations directly to me are welcome lol

Hey leinad! Looks like you are having problems posting too.. The board has been acting kinda funny today. BTW, if you need to edit posts, you can hit the little button on the post that looks like a folder & pencil eraser and that'll let you do it. Today its been spitting out errors whenever I try to post and I end up with multiple messages.

To be a SWANKy, just come out on a run with us.. anyone is welcome. Its more like a state of mind than anything. haha

We're doing runs on the 7th and 8th next weekend. The 7th will be some easy ghost town trips.. The 8th will be a more difficult run down to the Coke Ovens. Its a good idea to have rock sliders for that one.
