hey guys! been a little while but i have returned! ive got a few ? and hope for some good answers, which im sure i will get as most of u really know ur pathys. my first ? is why will tm 4" lift only alow me to run 32" tires? the reason for this ? is because my pathy came with 31"/ 10.5" frome the FACTORY! i still have the pink sales slip where the guy that bought it ordered EVERY option he could so mine has the whole 9 yrds. heck i could go with 32"s on mine now! id like to think that if i spend $1000 that i could more than what i already have stock. ?2- i need some more performance, internal and external, where to look? i really want to rebulild my engine and give it alot more horses. mine now is going on 230K and lifters and cam tap very loudly for about 3-5 sec. not good for sure. after that i can still hear a small ticking. also what is a good diff oil? can i get lockers for my stock axles? i also plan on doing a bl, are there any mods i need to make to do it right? well i guess thats all for now y'all! i thank y all for the help

Wow, hit the return button once in a while!

You could probably fit 32's stock with fender trimming. The TM lift should allow a 33" to fit, again with some fender trimming. You'll definitely want a steering upgrade with this kit, and remember that those torsion bars are hanging low after the install, and they can be vulnerable to trail damage. Lifts, steering, and tires add up quickly....you won't do much for $1000.

For the engine, Spencer Low Racing has cams, etc. to get more umph out of the VG30 engine. Also consider adding a set of Doug Thorley headers and a freer flowing exhaust. Won't make a huge difference, but it will help.

Lockers in the axles - check out our How To forum and read up on the "What Axles do I have" thread. That will tell you all you need to know about Nissan axles. The short of it is this: ARB is your only option if you have an LSD carrier now. If it's open, you could also go with a Lockrite in the back. ARB is also your only option for the front diff.

Gear oil....any name brand 75W90 GL5 is fine for the diffs. Synthetics are better.

I am going SAS real soon. If you want my TM lift I am going to sell it with all of my extra IFS stuff. like My UCA's are shaved for bigger tires, idler arm, idler arm brace, T-Bars, Diff, hubs, roters, cv axles, Sterring stablizer, and what ever else the IFS has. It might be a faster install since it is put to gether already. It is less than a year old.

I only want $500 for everything. But, it might be a bit to ship all of that, not sure. There would be a lot of parts. Maybe you wouldn't want all of the parts. for sure you would want an extra idler arm. The center drag link is new. One of the cv axles has not seen the trail yet. Shaved upper control arms and everything from the ball joints out with new steering components on it already. Maybe T- bars, I have rounded one before. Front cross member with brackets and bushings installed(major pain in the arse). I drilled and hacked bushings for hours. Well, Let me know what you want to do. I am running a trail on FEB. 25th for my B-day and I'm done with it. No more wheelin' till it's SASed. (And come up with a cool name for it!!) Oh yeah I am in Phoenix, AZ

They are stock control arms, that have been cut back and moothed to run a wider tire. So they don't rub the arm.
