Hey guys, Im doing a spring over SAS with the calmini hanger kit and 44044 rancho waggy springs. Im wondering if anyone has used longer than stock rear springs and with how much lift. Part numbers would be great! Thanks.

I was worried bout that with the ranchos but to late, I dont have room for chevy 63"s due to my bed bob so just tossin ideas around. Rear leafs are the last thing I need to do the SAS.
your angle of departure isn't going to change due to leaf springs... we still have the bed and bumpers to worry about, first... 63" chevy, I believe is a GREAT way to go... just my $0.02...

The 44044s work well on the front, and if you're going spring over, given that you have a big bumper and a winch, the spring rate should be near perfect. The truck will be tall though.

He is planning on chopping the bed, those chevys will limit the amount he can trim. Meaning the less he can bob the worse his departure angle will be. The shorter the springs the more he can cut the better his angle will be
So I did some measuring and 63"s will fit (CLOSE!!) if they are centered, I dont know if they are but if the are off center like I would imagine they are I can run em. Thats why I was wondering about the 56"ers. I can fit them under and would give me a little better droop. What the heck did 56" come in anyway?
56's are generally only found in 3/4 and 1 ton trucks... and some random 1/2 tons that got flagged as heavier duty. 52's are what you'll find in a 1/2 ton, and flex basically the same amount. the extra 4" is all one one side of the leaf.
