Okay... this isn't a topic I generally talk about but Stone what do you have in your rear end? smiley40

That is.. the rear end suspension on your X.

I thought it was part Calmini and others.

The X I bought has a spring over rear end and I liked the setup that you have.

Would you be so kind to list out the parts?

Kevin's X in moab was converted to spring over I believe, (and removed the gawd dang spring hangars) and was INCREDIBLY flexy.

Sorry what I meant to say was - I have stock leafs mounted over the axle.. they used the stock mounts and fliped them upside down, then welded a new shock mount to it.

Its not bad my only concerns were how flexy it is..

I need to get the front end axle sealed up, the AC fixed, and I think I have a main seal leak too..

Once I do that then I'll take it out and see what she can do...

I'll be up at WM Lake maybe this weekend BUT for sure next 06/28. We should have you over if you can make it.. Let me know..

It'll be plenty flexy until you start breaking stock leaves.

Spring over axle swap is really simple on a rear axle. Ruff stuff sells a nice kit of axle swaps. I would definitely get a calmini rear leaf spring set if you still have Nissan springs out back.

If you go with a parrallel 5 link, the gas tank can stay. It's easy to setup and tune too. Mudders and monster trucks have used it for years. Doesn't work too bad on the rocks either, just the lower arms hang a little low.
