Just got back from the campout on the Rim. What a blast!!!

This is just a short message before I upload pics and stuff.. but here was my general take on it:

Gasoline for 200 miles of trails and 200 miles of highway to
get there and back....................................$50

Late night bonfire...................................$free

Bratwurst and Pepper bacon.............................$8

Case of beer and 2 cases of Dr Pepper.................$16

Broken CB antenna.....................................$20

Layers upon layers of thick gooey mud on the truck ..$free

and..

Dropping mud bombs throughout Fountain Hills and Scottsdale
on Shea Road on the way back......................PRICELESS

...take that, you tailgating yuppies! big grin

Hehehehe

Gotta go hit the mud holes next to yuppie-zones hahahaha

My neighbor just got a Range Rover(used 1999)...this is about a week after he says he'll never buy an American vehicle again, only Toyotas...The rover might be foreign, but that don't make it reliable hehehe

I used to park my truck at school all muddy and my spot was always filled with mud. It made it alot easier to find when i was running late big grin

Hahhaha... Check out my new sig pic.. this is how it got all muddy. More mud pics coming soon. big grin

Hahaha.. I almost forgot. I had to stop at an autoparts store about 80 miles from home to get a new air filter. My old one was SO clogged up with dust and dirt that the truck would hardly go up hills anymore.

No, actually, you know the trick with the brick on the gas pedal works great. Its just catching the truck afterwards to take the brick off thats the problem. lol wink j/k

No, My friend Paul was riding with me and he got out to take the pic for this one. THe mud actually splashed a LOT higher.. I couldnt see out the windshield until I turned on the wipers after that.

OK, this is getting to be too much. You guys are having WAY too much fun without us. Only got one day of trail riding in up here. Our second day was lost to an incident with the kids roll eyes

After today I won't be able to check the board till I get back to AZ, but I'll be looking for what y'all plan on doing next weekend - that is if I can get away.
