Well, sorry, didn't get a chance to post while I was actually there.

Anyhow, Day 1 was Cliff Hanger and hot (in the 90's). Started with about 15 trucks but narrowed it down to about 7 SAS'd trucks at the halfway mark. Numerous ledges that were just too much for the IFS trucks. Fantistic VIEWS.

Will continue with the next days photos in the next reply.

Day 2, Very HOT (97 degrees) and we ran "Behind the Rocks" along with the Nissan Project X and Nissan Team. Obstacles were extreme on this one with a couple of "hold your breath Robin" poses.

Project X (who lives and drives this in Chandler/Gilbert

This is white knuckle hill, most all the rocks at the bottom had been removed making this a 6-7' straight down drop.

We were able to move enough rocks back to the bottom to make a ramp for the tries as we winched all the trucks down this ledge.

Shot from at the bottom of the hill.

Inside my truck going over the ledge.

And a shot of the 2009 Xterra.

Coming up... Day 3

Day 3, Fins and Things... Weather turned very cold (high was around 62 degrees) and WET. Everyone ran this trail together, one yellow Frontier sheered all his hub bolts and messed up a CV Shaft but other than that everything was good (someone lost a alternator bolt or something like that).

Lined up on Little Lions Back.

Day 4 coming up....

Day 4, Hells Revenge. Cold, wet but had a great time.

Here is Hells Gate... unfortunately, it was wet and slick and no one wanted to be responsible for spotting.

And I am sorry to say, I don't have any shots of Tip-over-challenge. I did make everything I did look pretty easy though.

Day 5 coming up....

Looks like fun, I really want to make it back out there so bad. What kind of difference did the rain make on the traction?

Day 5... Poison Spider, VERY Cold, Rain, shine, hail, shine, warm, cold.... good day though!

Looking straight down from the passenger window, you can fit a truck in there.... I had no idea how close I was.

And these are about the best of the Pics I took. There are plenty more, and video's too. Need to get some time and I will get the video's together.... Have to give my thanks to everyone that put this together. Alpine and the group of guys are really great and had a great time wheeling with everyone.

You know, for most part, the wetness didn't make much of a difference. But for Hells Gate, that was just too dangerous and you could feel the difference between the wet slickrock and the dry slickrock. But other than that and the bowls, we did everything else.

Very cool. I'd want to address a few things on my rig before going to Moab. There's just sooo many things that can go terribly wrong if something failed on a truck, or noob driving (like mine).

Awesome pics, and some real nice looking trucks! I love that truggy. That black X with the cage, did it get that right fender damage out there? That truck looks pretty badass. I really like that shot of the snow capped mountains in the back. Congrats on a break free trip. Cool that you had a good time despite the weather. What's up with the rockford fosgate banner on a couple of people's trucks?

A lesson learned late, is still a lesson learned.

That caged xterra has all kinds of dents, non from this trip that I know of. He droke a motor mount and shock hoop but had it back on the trail the next day.

Fosgate had a contest going that involed getting the most creative pic with the banner or sticker.

Oh yeah, good to meet you Bob. Even though I was standing next to you, I didn't realize how tippy you were on the water fall on Poison Spider.

Nice meeting you Clay.... Yea, I got more tippy than I would have liked. Here is the shot that got me in that position, after I bounced up, I slid down towards the camera on the front, so I had to back down and try again.

Oh, and to top off the day... This guy got pulled over for no MUD FLAPs right after we exited the trail.
