did some moderate crawling this weekend in the johnson valley hammers area.
we had a crappy map, so we weren't sure exactly where we were at, but most of the pictures i believe were on the "hells gate" trail.

the truck performed flawlessly. no real damage, just some new scrapes on the driver side passenger door (guess which rock did it in the pics), and a rear drive shaft that looks like a barber shop pole. banged up diff covers/skidds/sliders too. there were alot of rocks out there.

Looks like you got all the kinks worked out. Great shots. Pretty wicked looking trail, too.

thanks guys.
all the kinks are worked out. we ended up doing a custom motor mount on the passenger side for better clearance for the axle side of the trackbar.
towards the end of the day the top of the trackbar bracket was slightly contacting the bottom of the frame due to some shock fatigue. we are going to redo the hoop brace and mount the reserviors outside of the engine bay and also install a hydro bumpstop (at least on the passenger side) and that should take care of that.
i need 37's and an exo!

more importantly, we were kicking around the idea of an annual nissan run in the hammers. something like "N.I.T.H." -nissans in the hammers. or something like that, i don't know. haha but all you arizona wheelers better come out if we do!

i don't know why they would want it. they would just get their hummers stuck out there screwing around.
maybe for foot land navigation purposes, but its not like they couldn't do that right now anyways..

took 'em off to keep them from getting ripped off. when i get the exo done, and 2" wheel spacers, they should be just fine.
the front hubs are the heavy duty upgrades. they stick out as far as the rim and they are taking a beating.

You forget they have big guns they like to point in all directions fro the interior of the base w/ a range of over 20 miles.. Maybe Johnson will be "downrange".

I don't know.
