We removed his driveshaft and used 3 of my ratchet straps to hold his rear axle to the leaf pack. That was good enough to get him to John's house where they installed new u-bolts.

This is right where Andy popped his front right axle. He slid down the hill with his tire spinning and hung up the wheel on the rock.

I came back down lower the hard way:

I lifted a wheel about 5 feet off the ground (after this picture was taken) following Marshall's directions Smile






I managed to hang up on my rear axle after sliding off a rock and had to winch out.
