Nice pics! Looks like a fun run for sure.

I woulda stuck around at the meeting spot at the Chevron but had to bail to meet w/ a client...who later cancelled. I had planned on bring "the turd" to see if it would go further than a few blocks around my house, but had to take the Armada instead... Someday the Scout will be ready. Smile

On about the 3rd try climbing up, it went BANG. The pics with the purple truck on that little incline. V6, no crawler gears, 5 speed, and 4.38 gears. Am really surprised it went. I thought it was a halfshaft in front, but those were in good shape. He confirmed it when he could only spin one rear wheel afterwards

Which has got me thinking....

Could it have been the lockrite that broke?

Looks like fun. I too have broke a rear axle, I have pics on my website. Mine broke when I had 33's and no locker, only a factory LSD. I wish I had a cool story behind it but I dont. Cool Mine broke in my work parking lot driving under 10 mph. I was going around a corner in the lot and giving it some throttle, while turning I went over a speed bump and it snapped. I felt really cool. Roll Eyes

The way the locker is constructed, I don't think it could power a wheel if it broke. I drove it home in 2wd.
