Overlander N4W Card Holder ![]() Off-Road Warrior |
I know these aren't Nissans but it was guys with the trucks having fun.
This is the ORV park Turtle Creak. The park has a little for everything and we couldn't ask for better weather. We had some major breakage.( None of it me as my centerlink was toast to begin with, so I was basically camera boy.) The red/black blazer suffered the most damage. After coming down a little hard, with the gas pedal down he literally cracked the NP208 in two and said good-bye to his front passenger half-shaft in the 10 bolt. He had to take both driveshafts off and was towed 150 miles by the all black Blazer. I had fun watching but without the Detroit in the rear and my front end all messed up I was really limited to what I could do. I am currently hunting for a late 60-early 70 Bronco(which I might have found a winner!!) so that I can get my truck to a point of where it is not costing me $200 every time I take it off the pavement. A quick spec sheet on the vehicles: Red/Black Blazer 36" TSL 14 bolt rear/10 bolt front-both locked 350 Goodwrench crate motor w/ auto unknown amount of lift Red/white Cheby longbed 383 stroker 39" swampers 10 bolts-unlocked for now(and yes they did survive) CJ-7 fiberglass body D44 front/rear locked Brand new 36x12.5 SSR unknown crawl ratio, but trust me it's freakin low. Owner has done almost all the work himself. Still has the 258 straight six which went through 9 quarts in 2 days. Matt |
