Well, last weekend my Pathfinder and I were initiated to PA Muddin and resulted in getting stuck 3 times! This is the only pic that turned out...and it was just after the first mud hole! It was actually a circle type of mud hole with about 2 ft of water on top of 1-2 ft of thick clay mud. The second trail/mud hole was worse...less than 1 ft of water but 2+ ft of clay mud! ALL of the undercarraige of my Pathfinder was dragging in the mud, driving in ruts about 1 1/2 to 2 ft deep. Unfortunately, I was using a cheap disposable camera and it was too dark (darn!) to get pictures of my stuck pathfinder.
I won't be doing this very often, since I pulled my rear drums and found them PACKED with that clay mud...what a PITA! God I miss the rockcrawling trails of NorCal!!!!

That is some sticky mud.... are you guys on a trail it looks like you just driving throught the woods. post some pics of the mud holes/trails if you have them. The pathfider looks great with a little mud on it.

How long did it take to clean out the drums? -man that sucks.

The picture posted above is the only one that turned out...even the quality of that one sucks! My Pathfinder was parked along the trail. We were at a place near Franklin, PA, they call "mud circle" and then explored the other trail. We were probably the only rigs on it since the hurricanes started. The tracks that I followed were totally on the surface...until I drove on them! hahaha!

It only took about 1 hr to clean the rear drums. I have about 4 hrs (total) into cleaning so far...I'm not done yet though! I pulled the front wheels & brakes and cleaned the front end up as much as my time permitted...and cleaned the engine. The front lower control arms were PACKED. Tomorrow, I'll put everything back together and finish cleaning the rest of the outside and interior if I have enough time. On the way home after mudding, my Pathfinder was pulling hard left when I applied the brakes...I hope this fixes the problem.

Sorry I don't have more pics...I'll be sure to use my good camera next time I go wheeling.
