went and played with the rear sway bar in--- the stock end link broke.. so without swaybars connected, I decided to show off in camp a little.

Yeah but i usually don't disconnect....
i'm putting together an adjustable quick disconnect sway bar end-link kit for lifted WD21's. most of the stuff i have already. i'll be installing it in the next few days.
having quick disconectes will be nice.

So knowing what you know now, would you still do it over again with the All Pro kit? Or would you just go custom from the start?

where are you buying your QD's from. I mean which ones/kind are you using? I'll need to make up
a sway-bar for the front.

Being that is works the way it does. i'd still use the all-pro kit. but i'm working towards having a Nissan SAS 3-link made up. so there is no modification. There really was very little changed. in short i used taller hoops than the tacoma hoops and had to bend the upper link.

But if the nissan kit makes it to production, i'd do what i can to keep the upper link straight my changing the way the D44 Truss is made. the All-Pro truss limits how far forward the axle can be pushed, and limits how high you can set your pinion angle. Basically that truss sucks but i'll be modifying it soon. so i can push and axle forward and get the pinion up.
The rest of the kit if fine but the FJ Cruiser SAS frame side track bar mount would line up the trackbar with the pinion better.

So with out a nissan specific kit, i would still use all-pro parts and chage a thing or two but i definately wouldn't start from scratch. If i were to do it again i'd be able to dial it in perfect on the first shot.

I also still need to go too a high steer knuckle on the passenger side to keep my steering in check, but thats not the kits fault...

I'm using the Universal Helwing adjustable swaybar end links with the Rubicon Express TJ Axle end disconnect mounts... atleast thats the plan,

Keep an eye on the Rugged Rocks Fourms for updates. i'm sure i'll post it here too.

If your going to go high steer, do both sides. There's no point in keeping your tie rod closer to the rocks.

I've thought about that... but i won't know if it's going to interfere with other parts being that i have an insane amount of uptravel.

We'll see what happens though... crossover is bare minimum.
