Below are some pictures of the Payette Draw on 11/25/06. We were out with the Dirt Devils and the rigs they brought (nice buggy and Mog).

Here are some of the Pics.

OK, This is my first upload to You Tube so ... this is the video of Marshall's outer axle exploding, it is in the first 5-10 seconds of the video, couldn't believe I was filming it when it happened. Watch the passenger wheel and you will see it go.

Here is a video of Brent going up the Waterfall

Here is the Video of the Mog. Click Here

And here it the video of the Buggy, only thing I have ever seen go up this fall without a winch. Notice at the end, he lets the air out of his rear shocks. Click Here

That's it folks. Although there are more pictures other took under the Swanky thread.

What was there a tube sale or something? I gotta say I like it though. Nice to see some diversity with the rigs.

Um, that's right about what my Land Cruiser weighs in at, fully trail-loaded. Yikes.

Well he broke it on a high traction spot running 35's, and clearly he has the wheels cranked to one side when it popped. Also the pictures don't show just how gnarly that little ledge is, it's about a 3 foot vertical lip with a seriously off camber approach. Plus Stoney is just learning how to do some really tough stuff with his new setup. He told me how he was spanking stuff that previously he would have trouble on. That means he was getting it and forcing the rig to do stuff like never before. It's a learning curve, soon enough breakage will be reduced by the fact that he will know more about the rigs additional capabilities.

Actually, he didn't break it on a big ledge. It broke on a little rock after the ledge. This is him winching over the spot where he broke the axle just to get his rig on flat ground. His truck is still sitting on the rock that broke the axle.

It was really weird where it chose to break, not a tough spot at all.

The lesson is - turned wheels, the front locker, and the skinny pedal don't mix.
