how much were you able to push the rear axle back while still using stock shock and coil bucket mounts? would 2"-3" be possible without binding the panhard and stuff?

Mine is at around 1"-1.5" back from stock. I wouldnt go much more than that.

FWIW, I had to relocate the shock and coil bucket mounts on my truck too.

was the 1"-1.5" limited by the gas tank? im debating wheter to leave the body lift on and raise the gas tank 3" or just take it off completely. plan is to run 37" with as much lift as bach's running soa

Nah, I just didnt want to get the shocks and springs too far out of alignment.

Also, when you move the axle back, you gotta do a lot more cutting on the rear fenders to clear the tires at full stuff.

true, but the rear fenders are easier to trim than than right behind the door

To a degree.. Mine are cut to the point that I'm gonna have to open up the panel cavity behind the rear wheels to do any more cutting. At least it is doable compared to cutting the passenger compartment floors.
