has anyone tried this offshoot ,after way point 1 there is a Y in the road , right will take u to the start of hackleberry , left will lead u down by a heliport and then a meadow , just past the meadow there is another trail , take that trail and it will lead u back to way point 2 for hackleberry , tried it this weekend we had a blast but man definatly not safe if your not paying attention

we did the off shoot but by the time we got done with that it was dark so we never made it to hackleberry bu we plan on running that same trail but backwards Smile , then try hackleberry

To do that whole trail, a locker is a high recommend. There's some NASTY hill climbs strewn with big rocks.

from what a couple of jeeps said the trail that we took was worse than hackleberry creek , they has just come down the hill , they told us not to go up , but did listen to them , no way!!!
the x and a 4 runner i went with had more trouble than i did , both of them had lockers i had none

Sounds like you may have run part of Powerline trail, which is much more difficult than hackberry.

There's a couple spots on that trail that are pretty tough without lockers or a winch.

Did you take pics?

we didnt do anything that came close to the 2nd pic lol , but 1st and 3rd look lke what we did at the end of the trail there is a big cow pond , which would be at the beginning of hackleberry creek trail
