Well, this was quite an adventure, especially for Adam (and by the way, he is ok, sore but no broken bones or cuts). All started quite enough with us all meeting up on the East Side of Tucson.

Got to 3 Feathers and played around a bit...

Jim sliced a Tire...

then I didn't take anymore pictures till we were back at the falls.

Here is a nice Toy that was out with us...

And then it happened... Adam was trying to get out of the area where Andy is parked and start to roll down this hill...

He rolled 3 times and then end over end to land on his tires (spinning) and dug in.

Believe it or not we got him out and it started (after pulling out the front end a bit and putting water back in the battery...

Adam actually drove his X out to all our amazement. These are pics from the middle of the trail....

And driving the rest of the way out.

.

And one last pic, Marshal took a rock so hard that it broke the weld on his slider and into his rocker panel...

What a Day!!! and I have to admit X-Terra's ROCK.

How goes it all. This is Colby, the guy with the white Tacoma. I am very glad that Adam made it out of that mess ok. It was cool to watch your guys group do this Amazing recovery. I have wheeled with tons of people and seen tons of different situations and you all handeled this one like pros. I enjoyed wheeling with you all and i hope that Greg will take me up around your neck of the woods to run some of your stomping grounds.

Again, Adam, im not sure we even really met, but i am very glad that you are alright. I hope everything takes a turn in the other direction for you.

WOW! Eek As I well know, things can go terribly wrong in a hurry. Glad to hear nobody was hurt in the roll over!

Aside from that incident, looks like ynz (Pittsburgheez) had a great run...nice pics!

smiley8What a testament to the X's ruggedness. Nissan must be interested in stories like this.

Thank you everyone. I'll try to get some pics up soon. I've been resting pretty much all day. My right shoulder has decided it wants to hurt now. I guess I'll be finding some new aches here and there over the next couple of days.

At least I came out of it nearly unscathed (Cut on upper right arm, bruised right shin above the foot from wedging myself in the truck, etc.) I wish I could say the same about the X.

The pictures really bring the whole thing into perspective as when I was at the bottom after it was all done, I did not even know where I landed or came from. They just got me out of the X and had me sit and drink water while they did all the work to get her running again.

Again, thank you everyone for your support.!

Wow! Glad you are ok Adam! I know exactly where you rolled as this is my weekend get away trail.. It does get quite tippy in some spots back by the falls. That hill is actually where I park most of the time! Once again, wow and glad you are ok!

Here's a pic of the X 2 years ago back by the falls:

Glad to hear you ok Adam. For what happened I was expecting more damage. Has anyone else rolled an X or are you the first that we know of?
