BEWARE!!!! I ordered and paid for a centerlink one month ago and still have not recieved it. The only contact I have recieved from them, after over twelve emails to three different email addresses, is two emails promising the order will be shipped tomorrow. smiley50 That was a week ago, and I am still waiting for the tracking number I was promised. After reading complaints on other boards, I am seeing a pattern. They claim they are having "email problems," but they are sure quick to email you if you are threatening to cancel your order. I have seriously had it. You would think that a business owner would take his business and the customers seriously, but unfortunatly, that has not been my experience. If you decide to purchase anything from them plan on at least a month to recieve anything.(That includes emails!)

quit bashing the company, and answer the f*ing question. If you haven't had experience w/ the lift, then don't answer. L&P is a recent startup, and as far as I can tell, there's no "pattern". A couple people, recently, appear to have problems with emailing them. That's it.

Leave your personal beef and buyer beware crap, on the threads that are asking about it.

Purple, no, I haven't had experience w/ the lift. It's a new item, so you may have a hard time finding out info on it, other than straight from L&P. I would suggest shooting them an email, and see what they say. They use Phil's Pathy as a test-bed for their products, so rest assured, if they sell something, it's not something that's just been made up for some "test vehicle", that never sees the real world.

Ok sorry about that, let me "answer the f*ing question." NO! I haven't ordered or recieved the LP lift.

Now that that is out of the way, let me address the worthless/ignorant post by porsche. My experience with L&P is not a "personal beef" it is a MAJOR customer service issue. I have paid $415 of my own money, over a month ago, to a company that doesnt seen to give a rats ass weather I get the product or not. The comunication on their end is horrible and slim to none. What I had to say about L&P is relevant to the post. If you were about to pay $650-$800 of your money to a company that has RECENTLY had a lot of customer service issues, wouldnt you want a heads up? I would!

Now porsche if you would please pull your head out of your smiley40 and not be so hostile I would appreciate it.

I have to take deez side on this one too. No one wants to get ripped off or wait for parts. He was simply stating the problems he was having with the COMPANY which makes it relative to purples post because it is the same COMPANY he wants to order the lift from. Anyways, sory to post jack. I have no had no experiances with the lift or COMPANY.

No lift, 35" MT/R's. Chaos is no longer just a theory. http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/719499

I sent them a core first and they got my CL to me in about 2 weeks. Everything was fine with it. Lee and Phil are always willing to offer advice and BS with you via AIM. I have no complaints with them. The one little problem I did have with them they are going to fix and then some.

The other "problem" I believe was that a guy payed for a CL but did not send a core nor did he pay a core charge. They can't do much then.

I guess you've also got to realize that they are 2 busy people. Maybe getting a phone number would do a bit better?

I have no complaints and I would try to talk to them either on the phone or via AIM.

N4W Forum rules clearly state "no vendor bashing". That said, Deez's post was borderline, but informative. He should have stopped after mentioning he hadn't received the tracking number, limiting the post only to facts.

That said, we see this a lot...People who are friends with the company owner will defend the company and downplay the individual's experience. It's understandable. No one wants to see shit talking about their friends. Still, facts are facts.

The moral: Buyer beware. I know these guys from the boards, but I don't think I'd buy from someone who wouldn't give out a phone number.

Sounds like there's been some good experiences with these guys to, and in their defense, they are a brand new start up and probably have a few bugs to iron out before they can build a solid reputation.

FWIW, if I was asking about parts from a new company, I'd want to hear others' experiences too, good or bad.

My intention was not to bash the company, but only to give a heads up based on my personal experience. Sandwich if you have an AIM address for them I would greatly appreciate it. The avenues of available contact information for them have not been working for me.

Deez-

As Lee's AIM name is for personal use, I will ask Lee first. I don't really want to get into this very far, as I am just another customer and they should run their business however they choose.

Most likely I will just point him in this direction, and you guys can talk it out on AIM or by phone.

What is your AIM name? Maybe you and I can chat a bit.

$415.....????

Why so much? I thought they were supposed to be way cheaper than...the others. Just looking for info also as I gave L$Ps web address to a budy as an alternative to the other set ups.
